Folk Jam on Saturday, Oct. 14th @ 3 pm

A "folk jam" is simply a gathering of friends who sit in a circle and play music together. So if you play an acoustic folk instrument (such as guitar, ukulele, banjo, etc.)-- or if you just like to sing-- come on out and join the band! We have songbooks filled with classic folk songs, spirituals and well known pop songs-- all are easy to play and require you just to know your basic chords (G, C, D, E, F, A, B7, em, am...). All skill levels are welcome and sitting in a folk jam is a great way to improve your skills.

Our next folk jam is on Saturday, Oct. 14th @ 3 pm  in Leo and Ruby's backyard in San Bruno. Normally we will meet in South City at Good News Chapel, but with the weather still nice this time of year and with a recent uptick in Covid cases, we thought it would be better to play outdoors. It's a pot-luck dinner as well if you'd like to bring something. If you are interested in coming and would like the address of Leo and Ruby's, or just have questions about the folk jam, please contact me by voice, text, or email...
